Our Vests In EMR

Replica Russian EMR camo tactical vest and plate carrier from Russ Tactical

EMR (Digital Flora) is one of the most recognizable Russian camouflage patterns, and it's a natural pairing for load-bearing gear — the kind of vest or rig you wear over a uniform to carry mags, pouches, and the rest of your loadout. At RussTactical we carry six load-bearing options across plate carriers and chest rigs. Here's how they differ.

Plate Carrier "6B45" — $175–$211

Built for airsoft and milsim loadouts, with adjustable sizing to layer comfortably over a base uniform. Available in Olive ($175) or EMR ($211). Like all our plate carriers, it's built for recreational and costume use — not rated for ballistic protection.

Plate Carrier "6b46" — $137

The more affordable plate carrier option, same adjustable, layer-over-a-uniform design as the 6B45, in EMR. A good starting point if you want the plate carrier silhouette without the higher price tag of the 6B45.

Plate Carrier "Mozul" — $189

A mid-tier plate carrier that splits the difference between the 6b46 and the 6B45 in EMR — the same adjustable, layer-over-a-uniform build, priced right in between. Worth a look if the 6b46 feels too basic but the 6B45 is more than you need.

Rig "6sh117" — $210

A chest rig rather than a plate carrier — built for organizing mags and gear, with adjustable straps to fit comfortably over either a plate carrier or a uniform on its own. If you want a rig that can layer over armor without adding bulk, this is built for that.

Rig "Smersh" — $116–$131

Our other mid-range chest rig option, available in Olive Green ($116) or Atacs ($131). Same core job as the 6sh117 — organizing mags and gear over a uniform or plate carrier — at a lower price point.

Rig "Bilan" — $33

The most affordable chest rig we carry, well under the Smersh or 6sh117. A good starting point for basic mag storage if you're not ready to commit to a bigger rig yet, with the same adjustable fit over a plate carrier or uniform.

Plate Carrier or Chest Rig — Which Do You Need?

  • Want the classic armored silhouette? Go with a plate carrier — the 6b46 or Mozul if you want to spend less, the 6B45 if you want EMR at the top of the range.
  • Want something lighter that still organizes your gear? A chest rig like the Bilan, Smersh, or 6sh117 sits over a uniform (or a plate carrier) without the bulk of a full carrier — Bilan is the budget entry point, 6sh117 the most built-out.
  • Building a complete loadout? Many players run a chest rig over a plate carrier for both the protective look and the storage — all three rigs are sized to layer that way, and MOLLE webbing on both pieces keeps pouches interchangeable. Frequently Asked Questions

Are these plate carriers ballistic-rated?

No — our plate carriers and rigs are built for airsoft, milsim, and costume use, not for actual ballistic protection.

Can I wear a chest rig over a plate carrier?

Yes — the 6sh117, Smersh, and Bilan are all adjustable enough to fit comfortably over a plate carrier if you want the combined look and extra storage.

What's the difference between the 6B45, 6b46, and Mozul plate carriers?

They're all built the same way — adjustable, layer-over-a-uniform plate carriers — with the 6B45 priced highest and offered in both Olive and EMR, the Mozul in the middle, and the 6b46 the lower-cost EMR-only option.

My plate carrier feels tight over a winter uniform — what are my options?
