How to Layer a Winter Airsoft Loadout

Cold-weather games reward players who layer properly instead of just throwing on one thick jacket. Here's how to build a warm, functional winter loadout using real, in-stock pieces.

Base Layer

Start with a Long-sleeved Shirt "Telnyashka" ($19.80) — a classic striped base layer worn under your uniform, comfortable for everyday wear or as part of a full loadout. This is your foundation layer, worn closest to the skin.

Mid Layer / Uniform

Over your base layer, a dedicated winter uniform adds warmth without adding excess bulk. The VKBO Uniform "Winter" ($276) is styled after Russian military dress and built specifically for colder conditions, available in multiple sizes.

Outer Layer

For the coldest days, add the Uniform "Parka" ($135) — a thicker outdoor suit designed to layer over your base and mid layers for extended cold-weather wear.

Don't Forget Your Extremities

Cold hands and knees end games early. Pair your layers with Gloves "Slight" or Gloves "Rule", and add Kneepads "6B51" for comfort on cold ground.

Putting It Together

Layering — not just buying the thickest single piece — is what actually keeps you warm and mobile through a full day of winter airsoft or milsim. Use our Loadout Builder to plan out your full winter kit, or browse the complete Uniforms collection for more options.
